Mobility and Cooperation

The BZLT aims to provide meaningful intercultural connections and experiences to our learners and our members of staff, thereby strengthening their language as well as social, professional, personal, and intercultural skills. To achieve this goal, we organize the mobility program “BZLT goes places” for our apprentices in their 3rd year as well as after completing their apprenticeship. Our bilingual classes benefit from “bili-Talks” annually, beginning in the 1st year of their apprenticeship.

BZLT goes places

"BZLT goes places" offers our learners the opportunity to undertake a three- to four-week work placement in Ireland or Spain, coupled with an English or Spanish course at a local language school.

This program is made possible thanks to the support of Movetia, the national agency for promoting mobility.

bili-Talks

This project invites accomplished individuals with experience in mobility to the BZLT. The speakers discuss their remarkable careers in English and engage in conversations with our learners about topics that inspire them. "bili-Talks" have a dual purpose: showcasing career paths and stressing the advantages of language skills, mobility, and exchange for a successful career.

The BZLT collaborates with the Canton of Zurich's Exchange and Mobility Office to implement this project.

International Cooperation

The BZLT collaborates with partner institutions and vocational schools in Switzerland and abroad. We are always interested in new contacts and partnerships. Under Projects you can find some of the endeavors that keep us busy.

Please feel free to contact our mobility officer at stephanie.hess@bzlt.ch if you have any ideas for (inter-)national cooperation, suggestions, or questions.
